Come join Herbalists Juniper (of Milkweed Herbals) and Angelique for a fun and new way of connecting and learning about plants through tea tasting, building community, and a guided meditation.
We will start with a grounding meditation designed to help you check in with where you are, then tasting one plant (per offering) in tea form, then share our experience in a way that is designed to help your understanding of then plant, while fostering community. We will follow up with a discussion and sharing the benefits of the plant, with time for Q&A.
No prior experience is necessary. The practice is accessible to everyone.

Join Angelique for a special Mother’s Day workshop dedicated to celebrating and honoring mothers in all their iterations, whether it’s your mother, your own motherhood, a mother figure, or Mother Earth.
Through mindful gentle movement and breathwork, we will harmonize the flow of energy and breath. Angelique will guide you through learning self-massage techniques, focusing on Ayurvedic marma points in the hands. This practice not only promotes physical relaxation, but also serves to balance the mind and body, releasing tension and enhancing overall well-being.
Participants will have the opportunity to craft their own personalized aromatherapy oil to continue and receive the benefits of these practices at home.
Throughout these 90 minutes, we will create a meaningful and uplifting experience that celebrates the love and self-care of mothering. Yoga for Care Partners of Dementia - 3 part series
July 30, August, 20, September 24
via Willow Street Yoga
A three-part series designed for care partners and their loved ones. The first two sessions focus on the caregiver and the third session is be open to the person with dementia and the care partner.
Part 1: Self-Care for the Caregiver: Devoted to self-care and ways that caregivers can take care of themselves. It will include breathing techniques, gentle yoga, tips for relaxation, and other ways to reduce caregiver-related stress. (90 minutes )
Part 2: Skills & Techniques: The care partner will be taught various yoga techniques and ways to work as a team with their loved ones to create a positive caregiving environment. The poses include the use of music to help memory cues for the person with dementia. (90 minutes)
Part 3: Putting it together: We invite the care partner with their loved one to practice the yoga poses and breathwork together, creating meaningful engagement. All the poses will be done from the chair (wheelchairs welcome) and take home information will be provided. This session will be held virtually. (60 minutes)

During this 2-hour session, Angelique will guide you through restorative poses while using therapeutic Reiki to help deepen your experience. Guided visualizations, mindfulness, and sound healing will also be used to enhance the practice.
Come experience an evening of rejuvenation and healing with the unique releasing, relaxing and therapeutic combination of Restorative yoga and distanced reiki. Breathe and release into the support of bolsters and blankets intentionally positioned to support the body into a state of relaxation, releasing tension and stress. As you rest, Angelique will guide you through restorative poses while using therapeutic Reiki (from a distance) to deepen your experience. Guided visualizations, mindfulness, and sound healing will also be used to enhance the practice. This experience will be offered both in-person in studio, distanced and limited to 7 participants, and also available livestream via zoom from the comfort of your own home. If attending in studio, bolsters will be available (with new linen covering on each) but we ask that you bring your own blankets and any other props you'd like for practice.

Shoulder injuries are incredibly common among yoga practitioners. Whether a teacher or a yoga practitioner, this workshop is for you.A complex and highly mobile structure, consisting of 3 bones, 4 joints, and stabilizer and mover muscles, the shoulder girdle offers maximum movement of the arms. This large range of motion increases the vulnerability for injury. In this workshop we will learn:
-About the anatomical structures and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle
-Anatomical differences that affect range of motion,
-How to stabilize to prevent injury, stretch and strengthen to release pain
- Practice modifications and poses to incorporate into your teaching and practice.
This workshop will include lecture, discussion, and practice.
**Two CEUs are available to yoga teachers registered with Yoga Alliance.
